Damac Hills 2 is a large master community in Dubailand, set to the south of central Dubai and reached primarily via Al Qudra Road and Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road. Launched as Akoya Oxygen and rebranded in recent years, it has grown into a low‑ to mid‑rise suburban enclave characterized by landscaped streets, themed districts and wide-open green areas. The setting is residential and family‑oriented, with most daily needs available within the community and major destinations roughly a 30–40 minute drive away depending on traffic.

Homes here are predominantly villas and townhouses in planned clusters, with contemporary facades, private gardens and covered parking; a smaller number of apartment buildings also exist and new ones are being added. Layouts commonly span three to six bedrooms in the villa and townhouse ranges, while apartments come in studio to multi‑bedroom formats. Several sub‑communities and new launches continue to add inventory and refresh designs, including townhouses in emerging clusters and limited farmhouse‑style villas on larger plots.

Lifestyle amenities are a defining feature. Water Town brings a wave pool branded as Malibu Beach, a lazy river, splash pads and slides; Sports Town offers football, tennis, basketball and cricket facilities along with jogging and cycling tracks; and the central “Down Town” area provides an outdoor cinema, picnic and BBQ spaces and a zen garden. Families also find petting farms, a bird enclosure and a fishing lake, plus pocket parks and children’s play areas distributed across clusters. Daily conveniences include community retail with supermarkets, cafés and basic services, while clinics are accessible within the wider development.

Connectivity is road‑led. There is currently no internal public transport, so residents rely on private cars or ride‑hailing; nearby areas on the same corridor offer bus links. Typical drive times place the community within reach of Global Village, the wider Dubailand attractions and the city’s key business districts via the highway network. On‑site parking is ample, reflecting the car‑centric nature of the area.

Overall, Damac Hills 2 suits those seeking a suburban environment with extensive recreational amenities, contemporary family housing and a self‑contained feel, balanced against a longer commute to the city’s coastal and central districts.
