Dubai Production City (formerly IMPZ) is a master-planned free zone in the north of Dubai, created in 2003 to serve the media and creative industries. Set just off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the district combines residential clusters with commercial and light industrial space, and has evolved into a self-contained community with everyday services, retail and leisure on the doorstep.

Housing here is primarily apartment-based, in mid‑rise towers and contemporary complexes. Layouts commonly range from studios to three‑bedroom units, many with balconies. Buildings typically offer shared facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, saunas, landscaped courtyards, children’s play areas and covered parking. Larger, master-planned clusters within the community add jogging tracks, multi-sport courts and ground‑floor retail.

Lifestyle is convenient and low‑key. City Centre Me’aisem, on the community’s edge, provides a supermarket, dining and daily shopping. There are nurseries within Dubai Production City and a choice of schools in nearby districts such as Dubai Sports City and Jumeirah Village. Healthcare is close at hand in neighboring areas, with major hospitals in Dubai Investments Park, Motor City and Al Barsha South typically 10 to 20 minutes by car. Green pockets, lakeside paths and a dedicated pond running track offer outdoor space, while golf and stadium venues in Sports City and Jumeirah Golf Estates are a short drive away.

Connectivity is a key strength. The community links directly to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) with quick access to Al Khail Road (E44). Internal bus stops serve routes including F34 and F38, connecting to nearby hubs and the Red Line’s Route 2020. Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station is the closest station, reachable by bus or a short drive. By car, Dubai Marina, JBR and key business districts are accessible within typical city commuting times, depending on traffic.

Overall, Dubai Production City suits residents seeking practical apartment living with full amenities, efficient road links and proximity to established family and leisure destinations in the wider Dubai growth corridor.
